The event is CONFIRMED for today starting at 8am (arrival from 7.30am).
Before you leave home, make sure you're wearing sturdy, covered footwear.
Entry is on Albert St via South Head Road, East Moruya.

About the event
Healthy people, healthy Country, healthy hospital - Smoking Ceremony and Cultural Burn Event
Our local Yuin Country Elders and Knowledge Holders, through our Connecting with Country Working Group, will conduct a Smoking Ceremony and Cultural Burn on the site of the New Eurobodalla Regional Hospital tomorrow.
We look forward to sharing more about this special event soon.
Cultural Burn Advisory - Rural Fire Service Far South Coast
The
Bay lalc walbunja rangers
, supported by the
Moruya Rural Fire Brigade
will be conducting a cultural burn on the site of the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital this Thursday 8 September between Albert Street and the Princes Highway, Moruya.
The smoking cermeony with take place from 8am, with the cultural burn planned to commence at approx 9am and cover an area of 3 hectares. Smoke will be visible from the Princes Highway, east of the Moruya TAFE complex.
Please only call Triple Zero (000) to report unattended fires.
