THE COASTAL NETWORK

The Coastal Network brings together healthcare services and diverse populations across the South Coast region and includes the Eurobodalla and Bega
Valley municipalities and tourist hotspots such as Batemans Bay, Merimbula, and Eden. The Network’s services cater for the health needs of its residents and the thousands of tourists who visit each year.
The Coastal Network has four hospitals that are supported by community health services at Batemans Bay, Narooma, Moruya, Bega, Pambula and Eden.
It also has inpatient and outpatient services, including obstetrics, surgery, acute inpatient, mental health, paediatrics, oncology, renal and sub-acute rehabilitation.

THE CURRENT EUROBODALLA HEALTH SERVICE

Includes the current Batemans Bay and Moruya Hospitals as well as the Narooma Community Health Centre.

THE NEW EUROBODALLA REGIONAL HOSPITAL 

Includes the new hospital at south east Moruya, Narooma Community Health Centre and the proposed Batemans Bay HealthOne. The existing hospitals at Moruya and Batemans Bay will close once the new hospital opens its doors to patients.

INTERIM WORKS

Interim works at Moruya Hospital will ensure the hospital continues to meet demand during the planning and construction of the new Eurobodalla  Regional Hospital. The works include expanding the Moruya Emergency department and refurbishing the Moruya close observation unit.

BATEMANS BAY HEALTHONE

Funding was announced on Thursday 19 August 2021 to proceed with planning a HealthOne at Batemans Bay. The proposed facility will deliver community healthcare services such as GPs, dentists and child, family, aged care and other allied health services.
